So how do you go about buying direct from the insurance companies rather than the breakers yards???
i would think you need to be a registered bike breaker ????
ive bought damaged bikes before from used salvage company
there used to be an auction at santoft (n/lincs ) universal salvage
ive bought there once few years ago though , they are direct from insurance companies
Ditto.
I looked into to buying an insurance write off car a while back and was told that I need to be a registered trader. You can go to some auctions that
sell second hand cars but none will have insurance write offs.
I guess the same is with bikes
If you aren't aware of these guys might be worth signing up as they seem to have a pretty constant throughput.

A lot of places are getting engines from the states, which personally i'd avoid.
