Written proof of engine age!

Just sent of my Zetec engine number to Ford technical information centre for them to send me written proof of its age! How long does it usualy take for them to reply back?

Send them a letter quoting engine number and they will in turn write back with confirmation.

That table you posted, do you have a it scaned in a usable format like JPG. I'd love a print out if you wouldn't mine.

their pretty good - but if you have no engine number, they are unable to supply one but can confirm in the case of a crossflow say, that the last one was made in xxxx year.

Alternatively a copy of the burton power catalogue suffices as far as SVA is concerned.

They don't charge for the letter . if you phone them you will also get the info over the phone but the line costs £££ per minute

Unfortunately the telephone call is no proof of age either
