Starting to think about some rims for my haynes.
My bodwork is white and will have carbon front arches/aeroscreen/vents etc.
It also has some red highlights like brake calipers, engine details, brake lines.

I like the Inovit Force 4, Kei Racing Fuji and the Calibr Motion 2.

so which of these do people like, haven't got a big budget so will be the lower end rims.

I like the Caliber Motion 2's myself. Think they would look good against white with red extras

Are the prices at rimstyle good? for the Calibre's with Toyo T1-R proxed it comes to £489. Guessing thats not fitted though

I think it's worth doing the research into weight - there is a lot of variation and you can easily save a few kilos per corner by finding the right wheel. It is a pain though as most mfrs don't publish weight (which tells you something in itself).

Yeah i'll try an dget some weights on the options.

Is there any point going wider on the rear if so what width would people recommend, my car currently has the CVH but to be swapped out with a 160 ish zetec after test?

Guess it depends entirely on what tyres you want to use. Most people seem to recommend 185/205 and I doubt you'll need mega-wide tyres with a 160 bhp engine, so I would pick rim widths that suit those tyre widths.

Maybe worth thinking about smaller dia. rims too. The general consensus is smaller is better for our little lightweight cars. 13" seems to be the start point (provided you can fit them over brakes etc.). As well as minimising un-sprung weight, it makes for a better ride quality (higher profile tyres) and cheaper tyres too.

I ran 15" 195/50/R15 on my old Indy and it was OK, but always felt the ride could be better. Wheel weight was also very noticeable on rough road surfaces.

I was thiniking of getting some 15's for cruising and a cheap set of 13's for track later on.
well aware of the argument for 13 though.

Old school me, I like the ones similar to these. 13" too small, look silly IMHO, I like something that fills the wheel arch, not so easy to drift but I'm not into all that.
