where can i buy a sierra quickrack????
siert - 7/6/03 at 06:28 PM

I've been waiting for a quickrack since collecting my kit in Oktober!
Martin doesn't seem to be able to find someone who can supply them, so who knows somebody out there that still has them???
I'm interested in one LHD and one RHD for myself!

regards,

Siert

maybe one of the bigger suppliers may have them, try Demon Tweeks they do kits for sierra racks, not sure about how that'll work with the short rack.

a kit will be fine.....it just needs shortening and a new thread inside the rod. Thats what martin does.

thanks.

hi siert

i've just ordered my kit and am looking around for parts.
i've been asking around for these LHD kits.
but only quaife manufacture the kits.

but they are out of stock andonly do production runs if you order > 25 pcs.
i think nobody has em in stock anymore
so i guess waiting is the only thing

bye koen

Burton's (www.burtonpower.co.uk i think) do one for £64ish.

I have their catalogue...

I have a sierra rack which is 2.5 turns lock to lock, I believe this is a "quick rack." Could anybody confirm this for me.
Would it be cost effective to pay to have it posted out to either of you chaps?

Cheers Col

A possible solution:

When I was at MK they'd done a LHD using an upside down late model Escort rack (or something). PTM was building it and told me about it so ask him.
I'm sure you'd be able to get a quick rack for whatever this is.

HTH,

James

Macca I'm pretty sure 2.5 turns is a quickrack on sierra, that's the same as Burtons sell....

Cheers for that Ned.

Good luck M8y

I tried for 2 months and failed!!!

EVERYONE says the can get them
EVERYONE gets them from Quaife

Is the Quaife machine fixed yet?

I drive with one hand (see website) and you dont NEED one on the road really

Cheers

Macca,
I'm guessing it's too late, but did you sell your quick-rack - I'm in the same boat as everyone else - I fancy one, but can't find them.

I don't mind if it's second hand, as long as it's in good nick.

Cheers,
Adam.
