Hi guys, I have bought a shogun Pajero to use for winter but have just found that the front tyres are different sizes and to be honest ready for renewal.
Where do you 4x4 drivers get your cheeeeeep tyres from? in the spirit of Locost
Regards Denis.

They are very good.

Not sure in your neck of the woods, maybe Silverline if they are still around. Personally, I wouldn't go cheap. I use BFG A/T on my 4x4 as IMHO they are the best - and not cheap They last forever, great road manners and are good at clearing snow if you get it.

Cheers, Nick

I have Technic Trackers on my Niva, really good in the mud and look the part, not bad at £50 ish each, they are re-treads though but I'm guessing in a Pajero you're not exactly going to be breaking tne sound barrier so probably not an issue.

I should also have said I have a spare set of 15" snow and ice tyres with decent treads that I'm just about to put on Ebay if you're interested. I could go in the garage and get th info tonight.
