I have a new project to collect from
Near Hertford (in Hertfordshire funnily enough)
I'm hoping to keep costs low as the wife is really against me
Having this I'm trying to beg a loan if a car trailer or someone to help me with there trailer to collect a Wolsey 1500
And move it from herford to flitwick
Bedfordshire
I can be flexible with collection dates if anyone is able to help
Put it on shiply.com
Hoping to do it for either beer money or labour exchange as the cheaper I keep it the less time I spend in the dog house
Anyone
http://www.drive-hire.com/trailer_rental.html
Normally cost about £40 a day
£55 plus £250 deposit can't get away with that the mrs would notice part if the deal about her not moaning too much is that I can get it home free/ cheap she won't care that it's only a deposit
Hi carl,
No trailer but have a towbar on the car. Although you probably have a towbar thinking about it as you wouldn't be asking for a loan
trailer....
Sorry to not be much help
Just be a man and ask her indoors if she hasn't got any dishes to do or summat mate haha
Joking aside can't help but hope you get it sorted
As he said... Man the feck up!! Either you have the money to buy/collect and work on a project car or you don't..... What her indoors says is irrelevant....

I'm fairly sure Mrs T will be out back hoovering the garage floor or polishing the spanners!!
Well that went well and easily sorted
Not helpful in the least. I can afford The project I can also afford the trailer rental I was however hoping to engender some
Of the locost builder spirit, seems all
You guys can manage is silly comments
Thanks to the few who tried to offer good advice
Thought it was quite amusing banter myself. No need to be so touchy. I've done loads of projects that have peed the mrs off big time. She always
comes round in the end
^^^^ what he said ^^^^^
No offence meant
It would swallow up to £100 in diesel and the car weighs 950kg so apart from taking a day to complete counts most locosters out, my trailer is good to
maybe 700kg so I cannot help even though I am "on route"
If you can get on a return journey on a lorry it is probably close to this anyway.
I'm getting confused, is it just a lend of a trailer, or are you after someone to help pick the new car up?
