Any paint sprayers in Essex?
RazMan - 28/9/06 at 11:40 AM

I need to get my middy painted and wonder where I can start looking for a good but locost job in Essex.

No such thing as a good, cheap, paint job. The 2 just don't go together.
You could do it yourself??................

If I had a workshop big enough I would love to have a go myself but I only have a single garage without extraction or compressor. I want to use a 2 pack paint which is a big no-no without the proper gear.

I am however willing to give as much help as needed - I just need the guidance and tools (and space) to do the job

If hes too rich for you then try KEN BAKER in the same yard !
hes ok (locost price) but finish can be crap (over spray etc)

you could always borrow my garage

well depending on how long it will take you !

got the compressor, good excuse to buy a new gun,
but not vent ( extraction) well i have a big door that opens

Chilli - I called in to se Will and it doesn't look as though he will be able to fit me in before November. His yard was so packed I couldn't even find a space to park!
His price seems a bit pricey but at least he was flexible about payment & vat

Thanks for the offer of your garage but I think I would struggle to do the job myself, hence my search for a painter.

Steve - thanks for the tip. I will give them a ring.

try ken baker
he is in the same yard

some time there people waiting about a year for a job done by him !

one guy had his orion painted ( flip paint £300 a litre some special thing)
then 2 months later he came back and had a body kit fitted and full respray again !
