by the word of the law I believe he has passed under a yellow..
same if you are in 30 zone and then you see a national speed limit sign,
you have to do 30 till past the sign....
Question seems to be does the marshall between the two screen points wave a green flag or not. AND IF he does does that overide the signs and the
dashboard yellow flag light.

YES and ferrari as well. Lotta money at stake as well.
History would remember Alonso as a triple world champion.
I think it is fairly clear, the fact that the dashboard light goes off at the green light suggests it is where the zone ends rather than at the
marshal station previous.
The other question is, if so many people with lots of different camera angles and pause, zoom etc cant tell whether the flag was green, then how could

I'm no Fingers fan, and was hoping for an Alonso (championship) victory on Sunday - but this really is clutching at straws! If the marshall waving the flag at the station between the last yellow light and green light was waving a green, then that's clean in my book. The FAI and circuits may wish to look at their procedures, and where they puts lights, flags and in-car indicator points for consistency, but if a circuit official has indicated it's green, then it's reasonable for the driver to assume racing's on from that point.

If a marshal says green, it is green.
Whether or not lights or gizmos were behaving. Any issues is down to the organisers to sort out without penalising any driver because of their cockup.
I heard it might have been a yellow/black oil/slippy warning light.. 
The yellow light has no bearing whatsoever. Its only IF the marshall was waving a green flag that will count.
Funny how it's the public and press coming forward with all the speculation, nothing is being said by the teams.

I was surprised at the time that they hadn't dropped Webber back a place or 3 as you can't win by too much and its all within the rules now.

If Ferrari want to sign up Vettel in the very near future then could this have an impact on the Ferrari decision to push the overtaking under yellow

If Ferrari were to push this issue and get the ruling which strips Vettel of his title then I wouldn't expect Vettel to join them in the future.
It's a moot point. The Finger won more races. He should be champion, as much as I hate saying that, after Alonso drove as well as anybody possibly could, in the Ferrari he had all year. I think he knows he was lucky to get as far as he did (and obviously unlucky sometimes too: ie. Grosjean, one of the kids who thinks he's in a video game).
