I'm coming back to the UK in the next couple of days to get the SVA sorted.
Still need to tidy up a few bits,. but it runs and stops, and all the lights work.
So pretty much there.
Just trying to sort out a vid, to prove it runs

david i think you will be the third person ever to finish a haynes
one question i have is how did you get the bends in the bonet correct? i have the triton nose and scuttle and am pretty much at the stage of putting
the ali pannels on once i get off my ass and go get the ali.
Give that man a beer...hope it passes sva with no dramas

This has given me the motivation I needed to get mine finished!! And my goal is first week of January.
Also its curious you have your location as Angouleme, I drove my donour car(sierra´s are hard to find in PT) from UK to Portugal and I stoped in
Angouleme to sleep!

Bend and test, bend and test. Cow of a job..
If you are using the Triton nosecone and scuttle,
I would get their bonnet as well, sorry mate prob not the answer you wanted.

Yup, I'm retired. So pretty much full time on the car. Although the weather slowed me down a bit.

Although I was rooting for you, I wasn't all that sure, but way to go! As for weather slowing you down, I can relate: it was -20 c last time I checked where I live. Makes an unpleasant garage experience.
