OK I know there's GOME but assuming you don't want to to drive to Sardinia and back in a weekend (or want to do more than 2 events a year ) does anyone know of or take part in weekend classic car type regularity rallys that welcome kit type cars?

If not don't you think there would be a market? - nice drive through the countryside with the Mrs in the company of like minded people and the added advantage of a bit of friendly competition - add in a spot of good food and drink.......... sounds good to me anyway - but I can't find anything that isn't seemingly just for classic cars.......
