When you swap some shonky old ford donors for volvo, bmw and mazda

21 quid a side for track rod ends and 35 quid for a release bearing?

Time to start bargain hunting

35 quid for a release bearing
My whole clutch was less than that......for a Mazda
It pay's (or should that be save's ? ) to shop around

and you'll probably find the parts are made in the same factory to the same tollerances & quality.

Have you seen the price of release bearings from ford?

35 quid was the QH part from maccess.

Ill get a whole clutch kit for 50 and I need the friction plate anyway.

I paid 21 quid a side for the front bottom balljoints, but when I got quoted the same for track rod ends I decided to shop around. lowest ive found is 14 quid plus vat....
