I'd expect a car wheel is exactly what’s required since the machine doesn’t tilt on corners so the tyre tread is always flat to the ground. Think of a robin reliant, they also use car tyres on the front. Using a bike wheel would only provide very small contact patch and wear only the center tread

I thought you needed a full bike or car license to drive a trike or sidecar bike? Certainly you can't use a provisional bike one.
