Ginetta sold the G27 to GKD Sports Cars who renamed it the Evolution.

Since the bonnet was shared with another Ginetta model they didn't get the mould or the rights to the shape, and have remodeled it, lets be nice and say it might grow on you.

Have you looked at the new Sylva Spectre? Lovely looking car.

A mate of mine works for the company that built all the chassis and bits and pieces, but i think they just repair crashed track racers now. They still might do some Ginetta work.

Hello

Really cracking car, i had one before i got into G20's although it is essentially the same car. Several good examples available at recently at very good prices.

If you happen to be looking at a car for sale which has yet to be SVA'd with a bike engine in it i would advise caution. I don't think the series three bonnet will go through sva/iva with pop up headlights.

The GKD is the G27 with a body which has been modified by ram-raiding the tat department of halfords (IMHO)

The G27 was a sophisticated version of the G20 really, wasn't it? - If you're not botghered about stuff like doors, you could get a G20 for a lot less money - pretty little car in my opinion. Actually thinking about it the G20 has doors too doesn't it???

I doubt it will! The G27 was a very pretty car, the GKD version is horrible.

No doors on G20

Always had a hankering for a G4 but never had the money at the right time.
