Quick question regarding bolting my fuel pump to my fuel tank. Im using the pump in the pic below, and its got two parts, the main body and then a second part with a rubber strip on both sides. Is it just a matter of bolting the pump straight to a flat bit of metal with the right size cut out?

Or does it need a groove cut out for the rubber to sit in or anything like that?
