Hi all, just want your opinion on what gauges to go for!
Ive narrowed it down to 4 choices:
1. Original BMW clocks
Easy to plug in as using original loom, but will look a bit tacky and dated probably
2. Lotus Elise Clocks
Absolutly love the looks of it and from what ive heard (the earlier model at least) is fairly easy to plug in, but could face some difficulties
getting it to work
3.Vapor DigiDash
Small, cheap, but i do like the analogue dials aswell as some digi stuff plus i would need a seperate fuel gauge
4.Acewell Digidash
Good value, does everything you need and a few people have used it so plenty of advice available
So what are all of your opinions? at the min im swaying towards the lotus clocks because i love the looks of them
There are some really nice looking production car dash binnacles. I recently broke an Alfa 155 and kept the dash pod for a similar kind of use. Alfa 156 are nice too.
can i vote for the koso dash?
RMD are actually pretty smart, and cheap! made by caerbont who make smiths, and are actually exactly the same as smiths gauges
koso are quite expensive arent they? im trying ot keep this on the cheap
I would also consider the Veypor (can be sourced for around £100 from the US) as this has a virtual fuel gauge. Very good and even the gear indicator
works on my BEC!
These were selling well at Stoneleigh:

As with all builders it is your choice I know it doesnt help your poll but at the end of the day you have to be happy with them as its your car and
your going to have to live with them.
Personally I went for the etb clocks 7 package
