chassis chop - pregoress so far
02GF74 - 20/6/09 at 06:39 PM

old rail; removed.

cut off the engine mount base and cut new rail to length.

checked that exhaust will exit same hole - checked carbs fit under bonnet - not quite so need to find a few mm. Tilting engine to the side should achieve that.

Sarted to re do engine mount ..

Soall in all, spent a lot of time with Mr Grinder. Rescued attachment DSC04739.JPG

do you specifically what the carbs to sit under the bonnet?

if yes, i take it your going to duct a cold air pipe or fit an airbox on?

otherwise, why not just cut the bonnet to allow cooler air into the carbs?

Mr Grinder's been getting on my nerves somewhat today too

But having said that, I've now got my chassis red oxided and ready for paint tommorrow (weather permitting) then I can get on with some bolting on type jobs

I've had "Plastic Surgery Disasters" in the van's multichanger this week, top tunes.
