.... remove a tyre from an alloy.
not fun, I can tell ya.
it is a two stage process -fristly use electric jig saw with the narrow big toothed blade - for cutting curvess into wood ? - to slice through each
sidewall - that was easy and quick.
Hard bit, is to cut the steel wires in the bead - miust be about 10 of them so overall diamaeter about 7 mm or so. This took a fair bit of time,
firstly using dremel reamer bit to remove rubber from infront of the bead, then a dremel cut off disc to slice the wires. then bundle into carrier
bags and into the bin 
you can hear and feel the tension released with the final wire is cut 
probs not do it again.

the easy way is to break the bead with a hammer, then cut around with a blade then you can just pull the side bits off by hand with out cutting them

the easy way is to take it to a garage and ask them to take the tyre off, most will do it for free! lol

Oadamo is bang on. To make it easier put a bit of water and washing up liquid on the knife. It then slides round really easily.
You still have to dispose of the bits though.

Could you not have kept the tyre and disposed of it yourself? THats what i did when i need a tyre removing. Didnt cost a penny
