Just found these today whilst browsing. Looks like a good idea to me, I'll see if they have any at Stoneleigh, assuming Tifosi will be there.

I think those are the ones 'Fozzie' found at Detling as well, seem to be a good idea !! Look very similar to 'Pyro' cable glands if you ask me, will have a look tomorrow

They look a lot like the cable glands dont they

A bit of elbow grease then they would be shiny too

Thats exactly what they are, pop down your local electrical wholesalers, couple of quid should cover it.

they looked oversize to me on the tifosi stand and i thought once tie-wrapped they wouldnt look too good, anyone got a piccy of their set up using these?

I got a couple of these from work and when fitted did not like the look of them. I have wrapped the trackrod nuts with self amalgamating tape which looks neater to me, just have to hope the SVA tester agrees .

They might regard that as a temporary measure, which they would reject (in the same way they reject taped-on foam).

The new SVA manual says that the inspector should look for the sort of protect that would be used in manufactured cars, i.e. 'proper' protection, whatever that means.
