What's my Locost worth?

I have a friend coming tomorrow to discuss buying my Locost as a rolling chassis.
It was Book/McSorley built in 2003 by myself and a good mate (RIP) and has had no real issues to date. First time SVA pass/correctly registered age
relate plate etc. etc.
Here's what it looked like last year with a Zetec/Type 9 and was a great hoot.
I'm keeping the engine/manifold/box/ECU for another project but selling the rest as a rolling chassis. I'm not going to sell it whole, I
know that would be more desireable.
It'll include a set of fibreglass seats and a set of Westfield foam seats. The headlights are now small dominator units but those in the pic are
included. The link pipe and Caterham silencer are included.
But otherwise the car is ready for new engine/box and a blast in the summer.
I have an idea in my head but would like some feedback in general.
The car is not for general sale / advertising. He's a good buddy / very good car skills and I'd like it to go to him.

It has got to be worth £2500 for a fully built and registered rolling chassis.

That's a nice clean and tidy looking book Locost, logically it should be worth £2500 or more, trouble is Locosters want everything for nout!

why only 2500. I'm sure nobody will finish his car for that amount of money....

2500 is about right sorry to say
3k with the engine in as a running car
Prices are just rock bottom right now still.

I have to say that much as I like a bargain (yes, I know, that's not news), I can't see how the engine installation he's talking about
is only worth £500 of a difference.
Personally, I would find it difficult to put a value on, but everything has been done so well on it, the engine installation especially, but
that's coming out.
If the whole thing is worth a penny less than £4,500, I'm a monkey's uncle.
Where that puts the value of the rolling chassis, I don't know, sorry.

its ashame its not being offered for open sale as thats just what im after as i have all the engine/gearbox bits ready to go looks a lovely car.
