Im so excited I could pop!
bi22le - 27/3/10 at 05:31 PM

I should be paying for and picking up my Striker next month. I cant wait. There are a few things that I need to get done on it before Im completely happy with it but they are minor.
I have got a small hesitation with it but im sure thats the same as everyone on here that buys a fun car. I may not get to use it much due to the weather and its a lot of money that could be spent on lots of other things but I have always wanted a track toy and if I dont get one now then I never will!
It will be fun to be finally meeting some of you over the summer and go on plenty of nice days driving.
By all means get me more excited and tell me about things to do and look forward to.

Here is a couple of photos so you know what im excited about!!

the reason why the Striker is so balanced. Offsets the weight of the driver. Another JP design feature

But what if your a fat bastard,

or like me a lightweight

so to be a stryker driver you HAVE to be a certain weight ?????????????

I bet there sales figures are considrably down compared to "other" cars

Steve

you seriously think that their sales would suffer because of an offset engine???

steve m - 27/3/10 at 07:14 PM

hahahah

very good, but will a 250 power the car ?

coozer - 27/3/10 at 07:25 PM

You will not be disappointed.

Strikers are ace little cars that handle like a dream.

My last car was a Striker and real fun to drive, just a bit too small for me

You know what they say - too much power is just enough. Fit a 1000cc one and hold on tight

Does it have a removable steering wheel ? I know but someone had to mention it

Looks a nice car, I guess it is a RAW Striker as it has a 4AGE in it ?

Yes it has a removable wheel!
It has a 20v black top 4age. 150bhp.

Nice car, you'll be able to join the Jeremy Philips Sportscar Club now (www.jpsc.org.uk)

The engine does look very offset, much more so than the crossflow in my Mk2 Sylva Striker.
