Handy Web Site for Car Parts Data
Russell - 30/3/10 at 12:04 PM

Apologies if this is a repost but a quick search on here doesn't throw anything up.

Here's a handy web site for car parts data (calipers, steering racks, driveshafts etc.):

http://www.elcome.co.uk/xplorerlite/AMK/

If you browse around you can find pics, dimensions and data for the sort of parts we use. Also, I found you can locate a part number then find out which other vehicles use the same part.

It's a good way to waste half an hour!

very interesting - if correct the driveshaft DS7025 from a sierra 4X4, Petrol, Estate, 4WD, 12v 1982 to 1987 has the push in shaft to match a low ratio diff (3.2 ish) and also is from a LSD car .......

(i had a random browse before anyone wonders if i looked at every variant). If someone prods me in a couple of weeks i may be able to check up if thats actually accurate or a mistake when i start my new job.

edited to add - just realised its a FRONT drive shaft
