Rolling road recommendation....
prawnabie - 2/4/10 at 05:15 PM

Just spent the morning with the kit car at mech motorsport in cheltenham.

Dave there booked me in not realising it was good friday but still made the effort to get out of bed and look over my car to sort a progression problem i have been having with the webers.

As soon as I got there he noticed I had a misfire on idle and then found out no.4 cylinder was basically not functioning. He spent a good hour or 2 sorting this out and finally got to the bottom of it when finding the idle circuit on no.4 carb was partially blocked.

He then did about 5 or 6 power runs, altering jets etc and comparing them all to get the best low, mid and top end power.

I was there for 3-4 hours and came away with a car that was 100% better than I went with. There is no hesitation when flooring it, it revs freely and there is no standoff or popping through the exhaust now.

Top bloke and I would recommend him to anyone!

He is a legend. He sorted me out with my SVA emissions map. It took nearly 7 hours, but still only charged me £150 to sort out several maps. Well worth a visit.

Dave's been mapping my cars for quite a while now and I've always been happy with the results.
