hi, can anyone tell me what the difference is between a locost and a robin hood?
thanks mike
Is that a trick question????
Depends on which moel of Robin Hood I suppose but one is a factory manufactured chassis made on a jig and the other is a home made garage chassis. Not that it ends here and not that it makes one better than the other but there are quite a few differences. If you could be a little more specific regards certain parts i.e. chassis, running gear, bodywork then it may help to form a better answer.
robin hoods are just another type of 7 styled car from a different manufacturer, just like mnr or mk, they are all 7 styled cars but they've
added their own twists to the design.
Locosts are usually built from scratch from plans and being as tight ar5ed as possible during the build.
Cheers

Mark Evans can do one in a weekend
Mine took 3 years, pretty quick then!
Which Robin Hood?
The Zero is close to a locost chassis.
Others range from stainless steel round tube frames with dubious triangulation to monocoques.
yeah sorry , was a bit vague....
its the chassis mainly i was interested in,and the suspensions arms etc...

The only thing you really need to know about RH is:
Save yourself the bother, and do go there
Thought you was going to say "don't go there" for a second!
