Hypothetically speaking, if someone sent something containing a small amount of oil what will courier do if they happen to find it?

I understand it was all double wrapped etc, most unlikely that they had to see any oil the concern is that they appear to be holding the parcel back- must have a sniffer dog
so
do they return to sender?
deliver grudgingly?
demand more cash?
just lose it?

ive ordered oil online quite a few times, whilst it is clearly marked it does show they are quite capable of transporting such things,

as above make sure its wrapped up well and dont worry about it

Depends how they 'find' it! If they 'find' it as it's spilled out all over their lorry or holding depot, then they'll not be too pleased. They'll probably still deliver it, but expect an ear-bashing (whether you sent it, or are the receiver).

If it damages any other cargo, then you could fid yourself having to dig deep!

Moral of story - make sure everything is drained of oil before sending... if nothing else, it's only courtesy!

Surely its the senders issue - not the recepients. We double bag the oil to reduce the risk of spillage.
