...although it was only 10 yards up and down the drive, it was under its own motive power!
(Strange sensation, after all these years of making)
David
PS: Red-face time - I think I worked out why my contact-breaker dizzy didn't work - several years ago I bought a CVH coil to go with the Bosch
electronic dizzy which, at that time, didn't work. So then I fitted the c-b dizzy, forgetting about the coil... and eventually I wondered why
the spark was pathetic!
good on ya sir, big grin for a few weeks then
well done chap, an event i can only dream off
SVA in no time then.
All the best Dan.

Nice one david, its a nice feeling when you get to that point.
Its an even better feeling when your driving down the road enroute to your SVA test

Hmm, don't know about that; from his website, it looks like Mr. J lacks only a bonnet and a handful of nut covers
I must admit the last leg of the build seems never ending, pre SVA check lists were longer than the build sheet.
Im talking from my point of view (my car from rolling to finished stage), not davids car!
Do you recon you will have it at a show (newark?) this year David?

Way to go, David
I don't think it'll be Newark - not enough hours in the day to get the work done in that time, and then get through the SVA.
I'd also want to get a fair number of local miles on the clock before I tackle a 100-mile each way trip!
Maybe a show in September...
