Greeting all

Well i think the time has come to get back in to the world of kitcars. After selling my locost a few years ago to finance my Private pilot licence, having sucesfully gaining my licence back in 2008 i now feel the need to get another do Kitcar.

So my question is, what do you recomend.

Not wanting to spend too much money as i am still going to keep flying aswell,

May be a part built kit?
Rolling chassis?

Well i am open to ideas on doing it as cheap as possible.

It's good to see you back on the site. Tjoh84 put an R1 in your old car but sold it on I believe.

I have a lot of bits including a chassis to build an old school live axle locost. I was going to build a second one with a different body but steam has gone out of the idea and the mate i was intending to do it with went to Germany! I am just starting PPL so will need money over the next year. If you want a quick build I could probably help!

Hi ya to you both, glad to see you are still on here David and hope your car is still going strong.

Caber i could definatly be interseted in what ever bits you have, what do you have and how much would you want for them?

Doing your ppl is one of the best feelings in the world especially once you do your first solo then flying to the end to gain your licence, one of the best things i have ever done but even once passed it is not cheap hense why i am going to build another kit car to keep me out of trouble for the weekends i dont go flying.
