i would say there is to mainy lose wires by the horns and check the fiberglass seat think people have failed on the backs being to sharp

doddy - 17/5/10 at 07:02 PM

and is the steering wheel padded

eznfrank - 17/5/10 at 07:05 PM

2nd one for the belt mounts. Do the harnesses loop over the bulkhead??

Just seen the later photo and answered my own question - I'm not sure but I have a feeling IVA man won't like that very much

Is there a fuel cap tether?

the seats need edge trim on all the way round and the holes where the seatbelts go through its a definite fail on those

cd.thomson - 17/5/10 at 07:09 PM

cheers guys, wheel isnt centrally padded, but im taking the old sierra wheel with me too.

Seatbelt mounts are standard Dax items so not too concerned about those.

Should i heatshrink the horn wires to tidy that up a bit?

OT but a great looking build.

thanks jack, i wont be able to do that before the test but at least i know for next time.

just need to point out im planning for a fail (ive not welded the brake bias bar for example, and the exhaust is very loud..)

thanks franky!

Loose wires behind the fuel tank need clips

mcerd1 - 17/5/10 at 07:35 PM

don't know if its an IVA thing or not, but according to the williams ones I've got your ment to to line up the harnes eye bolts (using washers to pack them so that the go tight at the right angle)

Looks great but I think your mirrors could be too low. Can you see over the rear arches. Mine failed on that and I have to raise the mirrors.

meany - 17/5/10 at 10:11 PM

where have you put your side repeaters?.
seems to be a topic at the moment, on the scuttle wont do anymore.
