This company used to be Robin Hood engineering some time ago. They have now been taken over and revamped. Does anyone know if these kits still use the single Sierra as a donor. Been on there web site and can't find any details of donors mentioned. Also has anyone built a Zero?

And what a blast from the past this is:

Zero is a good (cheap) kit, you get what you pay for but I have seen many good builds.
The cheaper the kit the more you have to do to make it special

hi
i am building a zero and indeed the donor is a sierra although they say you can use any engine.
they have just started their new website
http://www.greatbritishsportscars.co.uk/

i have never built a kit car before, so cant compare to others, but so far i have had no problems apart from lack of instructions! although you get all help you need from rhocar

what kit did u get m8

steve8274 - 23/6/10 at 09:01 PM

i went for the 2468 model.
its slightly better than base model since you get the coilovers/dampers and petrol tank extra.
they even sell donor packages so you dont have to hunt for car or bother stripping one down. although i quite enjoyed ripping my donor up! think it helps to show you how everything goes.
the kit includes all bodywork, but you do need to buy a lot after too. all of which i presume you would have to do with any kit or pay a lot more!
