Applied to DVLA for chassis number last week and it arrived today.......

Out of interest, how and who did you apply to? I applied for mine by post weeks ago but have heard nothing?

I rang DVLA and got Swansea d me to write a letter to Preston so I did and made sure thay I told them Swansea had advised me to write.
They returned my number on a form which I am supposed to get stampped by a garage / dealer. They also wrot a nice letter regarding questions I had asked about fonts / size & spacing, but they could only advise me to look at the British Standards Institute.
