Can you courier a chassis?
JekRankin - 7/7/10 at 10:15 AM

Hi all,

Just a quick question - does anyone know of anyone know of any couriers who are willing able to transport a kit car chassis, or is this size of package generally too large for them to consider?

Cheers,
Jek

If you find a "man with a van" and it's a luton it should fit....

A Customer's Fury chassis and bodywork arrived by BusinessPost.
Don't know how much it cost to ship - but it can't have been cheap.

i bought a part finished kit in the uk and had it shipped to Ireland! Chassis, running gear and engine - even a MK2 back axle! Can't remember how much it was, but it wasn't expensive. A lot cheaper than me going to pick it up! Also used another guy to bring a Mini engine to Ireland! Check ebay under courier - thats where I got my contacts from!

Greg.

PS - He brought the chassis and stuff in the back of a LWB Renault Master Van!

Thanks for the ideas guys. Just a hypothetical question really, but I'll take a look at those options.

Cheers,
Jek
