Why do I bother?

Buying parts on the cheap is a complete waste of time isn't it!!

I've just bought two new parts for the Indy and they are just rubbish.

I've contacted the company I bought them from and will give them every chance to put things right, but I don't hold out much hope.

Guess the lesson is to put my hand a bit further into my pocket and get the right parts from proven suppliers / manufacturers, rather than take the chance on cheaper "equivalent" parts.

What parts?

Its a bit vague unless you want to tell us what you tried to buy and maybe even who from.

Its like that time I did that thing, but then it went wrong and I regretted it.

Yeah still sore after that one...

One place I worked at had one of those motivational poster things up in the back office, it went something like:

If you pay too much for an item, you lose a little money. If you pay too little for an item you risk losing everything because it's not fit for the purpose.

If people stop buying cheap s**t then maybe these companies might figure we want decent stuff.
