The time has come..

I will be putting my Locost kitcar up for sale this weekend. Having just been to the nurburgring in it last weekend I feel I have overcome most of the challenges I set myself when I bought and stripped the car last year. I seemed to have more fun rebuilding it than I do driving it now.

Not sure what its worth but i would be happy with between 2500 - 3000.

I will however be building the single seater when it comes out!!

noooooo don't do it !!!!!!!!!!!!

can't you build the single seater whilst you have the locost then sell it after you have finished.

will it be a road legal single seater?

Hi Alex

I am noping to build it looking something like an OMS hornet so will not be road legal!

I have to push myself to drive the locost so I think now is the time to call it a day. I know I will regret it in the short term but I have always wanted a single seater.

would love a single seater myself but that would get very little use too i expect many tracks are not open wheel friendly

According to a guy i spoke with earlier this week, Single seaters of any description (road legal or not) are now banned from trackdays at Msv circuits.

Not sure how true it is, but it comes from a TDO that has previously let them run.

I was under the impression they were banned anyway? I know Aintree used to permit them but I was thinking more hillclimbing and testing days.
