As the title really. Just been flicking through the latest Evo and just about all the latest monsters are going for black wheels and they look good on them but, will mine? Also a mate of mine has just taken delivery of his new SR2 kit and it has black wheels as well.
Show me some pics if you have them to help me decide.

Personally I think it depends on the rest of the car. If you have lots of silver trim and bits then silver wheels look ok, but if its all black then I think that works best....

I'm not a lover of everything black.

IMHO Stevec's look best.
That little strip of polished ally rim just sets them off.

I have the same mix of ali. and grp as Kermit but in orange and black front wings and i i think i like it,
I agree with Paul that its about getting the mix right.

When I was a kid, very few cars had alloy wheels, only the top of the range and specialist marques.

Most cars had hub caps and/or rim rings and the poverty models (rubber mats instead of carpets etc!) had plain black wheels.

I still see the black wheels as a bit basic, like something is missing - just personal perception.

Be warned you won't go back!

Now thats a completely different subject
