You couldn't get it much further back, the bellhousing is up against the tunnel / firewall already!

about 5mm clearance

scootz - 5/8/10 at 11:53 AM

I'd say it's pretty well priced...

Peteff - 5/8/10 at 12:15 PM

Looking at the spec and the fact it's a Caterham I think it's very well priced, especially if you have a Moto Moronic to exchange I'd snatch his hand off.

The Caterham is designed as a high polar moment car.

Is it just me but in some of the photos the steering looks way out, nearside wheel has lots more lock than the offside.

Ninehigh - 5/8/10 at 01:11 PM

£250?

snakebelly - 5/8/10 at 01:14 PM

too much?

franky - 5/8/10 at 02:34 PM

As it should, with correct Ackerman geometry.

well it is a genuine caterham and the Quaife 4 speed gearbox alone costs over £1,500, with a 2lt zetec wich i think is about £2K(had a quick look the site http://www.raceline.co.uk) with a nice sump with only 35k miles and dont forget it has full weather gear, i would say its a very good price!
