Got my wishbones back today with properly fitted lower ball joints (thanks dax). Obviously it was a right bugger getting them refitted and I came
close to having to remove all the front wheel gubbins. Managed to sort it within a reasonable time frame once I got the rubber mallet out though
.
So, cross that fiddly job off the list, just have to refit the exhaust this weekend and the cars ready for IVA.
Just before I left the garage I thought I'd fire up the electrics and give everything a fiddle (mainly just to check my new wing mounted side
repeaters).
What the....
the dip beam headlights now go on and off when the car gets bumped. Must be a loose connection somewhere but of course that requires dismantling and
removing the whole dashboard to get to that area of them loom!!
Bloomin typical isn't it!
And don't try telling me thats the appeal of these cars... I know it pi**es you guys off something rotten too
