Well the Europe trip went fine, just about... On friday morning me and Steve headed off to Dover in T7, then got to Belgium fri night.
Sat morning, we drove on into Germany to watch Stage 15 of the rally, then after that drove up to the Nurburgring campsite... Sunday morning we did a
couple of laps and then came home!
Only real casualty was melted spark plugs (we need lower temp ones now it has been properly tweaked) and one of the front arch stays broke due to the
shittiness of Belgian motorways (take a different route next time...)
You can see a video of the lap of the ring at http://ds.dial.pipex.com/town/terrace/pp70/ring.avi and you'll need Divx 5. Its about 10Mb. We were
doing 100 down the back straight, but the video makes it look like about half that! Also, driving a locost on the continent is funny. Everyone, and I
mean EVERYONE stares, points, waves, comes up and asks about it... one guy overtaking us even took a photo as he drove past! Even at the ring,
surrounded by porsches, ferraris etc etc, people came up and looked at our car! Hilarious. Pics below (maybe)
Nice set of photos.
Glad you had a good trip and probably irritated Ferrari and Porsche owners with the admiring glances you got.
One thing though, maybe the photos would be a good addition to your photo archive so they aren't lost in the mists of time when this topic gets moved
on a few notches?
Cheers.
Rich.

And yes driving anything like sevenesc or none major car factory produce gets you a lot of stares.
