Evening all ,ill keep this short does anyone know where i can get a set of number and letter punch stamps at 7mm? which i believe is what the IVA regs
are for the VIN number.
Thanks in advance Greg
I dremelled mine, using the fine diamond pointed thingy.
Saved me denting the chassis and looks nice. Didn't seem to cause a problem when I registered.

The IVA manual I have (24/5/2010) says 3.5mm or bigger.
Section 18 Standards 11 and 12, Page 114 of the pdf.
Machine mart sell 3.5mm and 6mm stamps.

Havnt got around to fetching one yet but I am told Tool station have them.
Thanks all for your replys i must be blind i swear i checked CBS the other evening for a set and didnt find anything, anyhow guess ill be buying a set
from them!
I found this on another forum tho but could be wrong
The characters used for the VIN stamped into the chassis, frame or other similar structure must be at least 7mm high. This does not apply in the case
of a "Visible VIN" provided on a Mass Produced vehicle

I got mine from machine mart fairly cheaply too, but if you have a dremmel i'd use that.
