Does it need CNC? Stick a pic up.

For scale the overall width is 150mm

Yep it, does...Sorry I can't help.

Sadly they wont be cheap if you find a job shop to do them.

had a quote for £20 each if i had 10 made. I want 2 for me, 2 for a colleague, but could maybe sell the rest. They allow R1 5VY standard airbox to be turned 180 degrees on throttle bodies and keep all oem mountings etc.

Hi, how thick are they? And have you produced a 3D model to work from?
If thinner than 16mm i can make them for you from carbon fibre plate.
Sorry, can't do alluminium.
£60 for all 4 inc P&P.

i'd drawn them at 15mm, but can be 16mm if its easier. I have drawn them in 2d autocad but can easily and quickily stick them into 3d. What format? And also would it make it cheaper if i had 2 like this instead (1 spacer for the TB rather than spiltting it into 2)

I'm hoping for future reorders as going to offer these, aluminium engine mounts and electric mechs for sale at a later date. No problem if they can't be reordered, just a thought

To use the CF ones i would need to loose the top protruding lip (not really a problem) to get the thickness i require. I'm guessing this would also make it cheaper as it would only require machining on one face. Is that correct???

Hi Austen,

Paired up is much simpler as you say, so if you want pairs, mc'd from one side only i'll do you all 4
for £45 inc P&P. Should be able to turn them round for you within a week.
15mm thick is fine, no problems there.

3D files can be .IGES, .STP, or Rhino.
Not sure about native autocad?? i'll check when at work tomorrow mate and let you know.

Will U2U contact details if your interested Austen.

Regards,

Nick.

Yes mate I am more than interested! As they are paired up I only need 2. Will look into how best to get you the file, I can't do 3d autocad, but uuse a 3d cas package at work all day which I can model it up in, just need to work out hopw to get it into iges or step for you. Email me on email below and we can get it sorted. THANKS! The power of LCB!
