Im building one at the moment and their are a few other on here too. Shaft (his user name i think) will probably be best to speak with as he has built his and passed IVA first time. Look him up and see his posts, also he has a wicked build diary.

Welcome to the mad house.

I am more than happy with the GBS Zero quality and the back up from the factory is first class.

Andy

Not a bad choice at least the gbs zero has a chassis much better than that baco foil joke they called a lightweight

hi neil
i am currently building a zero too.
i went for the 2468 it and so far i cant fault the quality.
my only negative is, you still need to buy tons off stuff as well as the kit. i know this will be the norm with all kits but the extras required just to make a reasonable car soon bump the price right up.
here is a link to my build so far if any use

all in all i would recommend the zero

Can you get a list of the extra bits you need? I persume an engine will be on that list...

i went for the plus kit at £3250 + the VAT.
that was the chassis, wishbones, all grp and alloy panels etc.
Gaz shocks, wheels and tyres, seats, harness's, all lights & indicators, brake pipes,
handbrake cable, carpet, grey vinyl matl, radiator and elec fan, alloy fuel tank.
Prob missed some stuff, but you get the idea.

I used a single donor Sierra and run the Pinto in my kit. (Albeit re built and played with,
putting out 160 bhp now)

Not scrimped as i've built it (Wilwoods, Megajolt, Digidash Lite etc) and including IVA
it stands me at @ 8K.

Like you say mate.... a lot more than the shiny brochures insinuate!

Am i happy with it though?..... Hell yeah, it's my pride and joy!
Roll on the Sun!!

HTH,

Nick.
