Not familiar with the Westfield chassis myself, but is there any reason to suspect its not an honest add?

May be genuine... you'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference between a pre-lit Westfield and a Locost.

No, none whatsoever - I just thought it might provide extra value if it's a pre-lit Westy - the aluminium scuttle etc is imho pretty desirable!

What does pre lit mean?

Seen a few people mention it but no idea what it means

Pre lit means prior to being taken to court by caterham......
And Uncle Ron modelled the locost on the pre lit jobbie and won the fight as had enough changes.

pre litigation i guess lol

The chassis, from what can be seen, is exactly the same as mine, a bok built chassis, and even down to the alui scuttle, it is very similar

Pretty sure that's a Locost chassis. The Pre lit Westys had sloping sides like the Caterham. They were a bit too close to a Caterham in every aspect, hence the court case )
