Need to buy some plywood cut to size. Have seen one on tv that does it but cannot remember which one it was.

our local b&q has a cutting service

Our local homebase does, but local BnQ doesnt. Depends on the location, some charge per cut now too.

Do you have a local timber merchant nearby? Or somewhere that specialises in that sort of building materials, they will usually cut up materials etc. Usually far better prices than the "DIY" stores.

If not, a jack-saw and two trolleys in the Wickes carpark is lo-cost

Good point i will have a look around.

afaik all bandq depots do it

B+Q Warehouse stores have cutting service but smaller stores don't. They won't cut treated timber though.

b&q is apparently now 15 free cuts. Decent ply isnt cheap though

Always give them a ring 1st though. The number of times I've been to one of my local B&Q Warehouses (I have 3 within 20 minutes!) and they haven't had anyone "trained" to use the saw. Pain in the backside!
