Out of the garage at last.....
AndyW - 17/4/11 at 12:11 PM

Wanted a quick tidy up in the garage yesterday, so at last she rolled out into the day light.

Swept out garage, cleared a few things away, and put engine stand next to work bench to allow assembly of engine. The fingers crossed engine and box go in!!!

Looking smart there Andy, the Zero looks like a
good bit of kit.

A zetec and type 9 will fit lovely in that hole.

Andy.

I can just make out an exasperated look, with your hands in the air
in the second pic.

Had you just spilled something?

Looking good just asked the wife to shift her car so I can wheel mine out after the winter upgrades and repairs.

Yes mate, just swept up a load of bits of old rivets, screws, swarf etc and dropped the lot again. And that was because the wife said the garage looked messy and wouldnt take photo's of a mess!

And as for the wife Warren, she had to move her car too, as she parked in front of garage as I took her space in front of house.!!!

lol she'd probably have a fit if she saw mine then...

looking good though, but where's the back end?

coozer - 17/4/11 at 01:32 PM

Nice, like the parking brake

As I've seen on some other Zero's will you be having rows of rivets visible on the outside?

AndyW - 17/4/11 at 01:40 PM

Coozer, the sides are riveted on top edge and underneath then bonded at the sides so it does not look like a battle ship!! The one thing that initially put me off was the rivets, but the factory never put them there so neither did I!!

As for the back end Blake, not made it yet, its still sitting in the garage, going to do is once the fuel system is in, in a few weeks time, just makes it easy to get to things.....
