I noticed at stoneleigh that all the westfields with the 1.6 turbo lump only have about 50mm clearance to the sump guard with about 10mm above that to the sump

I guess its because they can't alter the engine and keep the vauxhall warranty? Or anyone got any other ideas?

Seems a bit silly on a £30k kit car.

Beleive they're crate engines straight from Vauxhall and are under warranty


Also if you buy a Factory built Duratech car Westfield won't give you the code for the ECU until its out of Warranty
(Just in case somebody fiddles with the map and damages the engine)
