Hi guys,

I am looking for a replacement key for my westie (just incase i loose one).

Can any one tell me, its 2002 Megablade, with a 97/98 919cc Blade engine & ECU, as far as i am aware there is a security system on the ECU which works with required a resistance drop in the 12v feed to power it up, but other than that it is now connected to the key.

Is it as simple as me getting a key cut? or would i face any problems with the key being coded or anything stupid like that? The key i have certainly doesn't look very sophisticated anyway!

Got key cut, and works spot on, for anyone who wants to know, westfield column takes a BL / Mini type Key

Damn, beat me to it ;-) Had one cut for my ZX10R powered Westy a few months ago...
