Glad ive made some one happy today, as normally i dont!!

TAZZMAXX - 27/11/11 at 10:13 PM

No disrespect, but it isn't the prettiest vehicle I've seen.

Proby - 27/11/11 at 10:32 PM

My dad scratch built one of these back in the 80's in Post Office red with white wheller wheels, was my introduction to kit cars at the tender age of 6!

myke pocock - 27/11/11 at 10:33 PM

It may not be pretty but he says it's Locost so thats good enough on here aint it? After all Zoie Wannamaker aint pretty but I wouldnt kick her outa bed.

iank - 27/11/11 at 10:40 PM

Not a bad replica of the original

They look much better (IMO) without the windscreen

Ah, nah she's alright

designer - 28/11/11 at 08:03 AM

Did you tow it far on the A-frame?

Thought that was illegal!

... for 62

neilp1 - 28/11/11 at 09:58 AM

Is the mnr gone then?

coozer - 28/11/11 at 11:36 AM

MNR's still here, fancy swapping it for a real jeep, a Hotchkiss M201 will do me, not bothered about the history....

The A frame is legal as the jeep is under the 750kg. and if over a simple braking mechanism would keep it legal.

Steve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How many times have I asked you for your Jeep, and now you rub my face in it and get another one!!!

Lucky Bar-Steward!

coozer - 28/11/11 at 04:26 PM

ross05 - 30/11/11 at 08:02 PM

the jeep maybe under 750kg,but the vehicle being towed must be motd insured and taxed,if on the highway!!!!!

I recently checked this with west yorks police,as was thinking of using an A frame to tow a kit car back to Spain.

Will just drive back in the kit car..
