Being still at the pre-chassis build stage I'm in awe!!

Well done!

Mark

Does that come after the " sat on the settee watching telly stage " Mark? I like the full body style, someone ought to do a Frogeye Sprite copy using bike engine specially for me.

marktigere1 - 26/8/04 at 11:49 AM

Not quite Pete.

The pre-chassis stage for me is the "I have to find somewhere for all this fecking crap in my garage!!" stage.

Cheers

Mark

Stuart Taylor used to do a lovely 'frogeye' Sprite kit a few years ago. He sold the project on, but don't know who to. 'Twas very nice though.

I think Banham made the frogeye at sometime, not sure if they still do.

Noodle - 27/8/04 at 12:57 PM

Weren't their some fellas from the Isle of Wight knocking out a K-Series powered Frogeye replica a few years back.

Maybe Syd'll know...

Cheers,

Neil.

I know your next post answered this but yes there was - not sure if they are still going though, or maybe this is what Banham bought the rights to?

looks beautiful, but I did notice that there is a rather large gap in the bodywork

phelpsa - 27/8/04 at 06:36 PM

The banham is FWD based on a mini.

I saw one in Plymouth a few months ago, those gaps are ENORMOUS espacially around the doors, small children could enter the car without opening the doors
