Looking for a link - Ali Monocoque
sgraber - 27/8/04 at 05:28 PM

I remember some time back that some guy (Europe, Netherlands maybe?) built an Ali Monocoque Seven style car. It was yellow and had a nice rounded rear with inset tail lights.

Does anyone have the link to his site?

Thanks

Question returns - I just wanted to share Edwin's concepts on another forum but found his homepage offline, gone
As I remember there were lots of very informative pictures and some theory about techniques he used.
Best description of this project I've found is:
http://www.topkits.co.uk/erwin-lotus-seven.html

Was his car reviewed in a magazine? Or maybe somebody have downloaded pictures or...
...any ideas?

Have you tried using thewaybackmachine?
Sometimes have to manualy type in addresses rather than use the click links but often works

I think Erwin still works at the Eindhoven University of Technology. He (along with his contact details) is still mentioned here: http://www.tue.nl/universiteit/over-de-universiteit/organisatie/diensten/gemeenschappelijke-technische-dienst/organisatie/contactpersonen/
