I think I saw a tv programme once about a guy who was going to make a "car for africa" which was much the same IIRC. It went something like, the cars worked for purpose, he attracted investment, squandered the money, only 1 was every built, then he got into loads of bother.

Cue lots of angry people/upset kids etc and no african car, just remembered, it was called Africar

This does look convincing though but it reminds me a lot of the Africar concept

This was the original concept for the Fiat panda Mk1, it was intended to be made in GRP hence the external seams on the roof etc with a mechanical kit supplied by Fiat.

The mobius does look like it has Panda Mk1 wheels!

Quite like that

But not the Mobius One which has been hit repeatedly with the ugly stick.

From the title, i was expecting to see that you had received an email from King ungabawa of Kenya, asking to look after his spare cash and his kit car!!

Stott, you beat me to it! The Africar project and associated images loomed up from the depths of my memory, because of the similarities of the conditions faced by both these projects. Just hope this one achieves a greater degree of successful participation by those it hope to benefit.
