Well it's kind of related to locost - kinda....
ne of the doctors at my wife's surgery has just taken delivery of a brand new Morgan.
Naturally I was straight round there for a good shufty.
generally it was very nice but I didn't feel it was of a high enough finish to justify the high price. (best part of £30k)
One thing i noticed straight away... inside the front wheel arches a couple of inches behind the tyre there is an unsuporrted wire connecting the
indicator. As I say the wire is streched straight across the wheel arch (about 10" and completely unsuported/unprotected ) surely it is just
waiting for the first stick or whatever to be chucked up by the wheel and it will snap....
I will try to sneak a photo if i can without upsetting him....

perhaps the fact that we will be driving the cars we are/have building/built ourselves makes us a little more aware and critical of build quality.
TBH I can't think of a single production car I've been in that didn't have several seriously niggling design or build issues that
should not have made production. These usually worsen as the price of the car goes up as well!
Not that I'm a perfectionist in any way.
