Check out this build, imported into SA and will do 0 to 100kph in 3.6 sec seemingly. Don't worry I'm not thinking of buying it, but I do keep an eye out down here. Just though you'd like to see it. Price converts to approx 4000 of your British Pounds.

Cant imagine getting 3.6 sec 0-62 unless the tyres are rather special as well as the engine.

Not a bad price for £4K though.
